The thickness of your gum tissue is genetic. Gum disease (gingivitis) is your own doing. Years of plaque buildup and aggressive brushing wear away at your sensitive gum line, giving it a peeled back appearance. Plus age decreases the flow of saliva, which helps to wash away plaque-causing bacteria.
Shifting Teeth:
Teeth have memory! The minute you remove your clips they try to retain their original spot. Fillings and crowns can cause crowding, and chewing and clenching wear down teeth over time, making them smaller and creating gaps – and time there is a gap, teeth will move to fill or even the space!
Fix Teeth Problems:
- For mild yellowing use teeth whitestrips containing hydrogen peroxide.Maintain results by brushing with a fluoride toothpaste daily.
- Brushing your teeth correctly is a must. At least two times a day, use a soft-bristle toothbrush to gently message your teeth in a circular motions along the front, back and sides. And don’t forget to floss!
